For centuries, rumors have circulated about the existence of man-eating demons that lurk in the woods. As a result, local villagers never dare to venture out at night. According to legend, a demon slayer roams the night, hunting down the bloodthirsty demons. These rumors soon become harsh realities for young Tanjiro... Since his father's death, he has taken on the responsibility of caring for his family. Although their lives may have become harder with this bitter event, they still live happily. That fleeting warmth is destroyed one day when his family is slaughtered, and his only surviving sister, Nezuko, is turned into a demon. To his surprise, Nezuko still shows signs of human emotions and thoughts... And so, Tanjiro's adventure begins as he fights against demons and tries to return his sister to her former state.
